        The Audio Note CAP-100-R-10U-16V belongs to the Kaisei range of electrolytic audio capacitors. This 10 µF, 16 V polarised capacitor is intended for audio circuits where the choice of capacitors has a direct influence on overall sound quality.

         

        The Kaisei series was developed as a more affordable high-performance electrolytic range using the same special electrolyte, foil and construction quality as Audio Note’s top-level replacement capacitor programme, apart from the graphite-impregnated paper used in those premium designs.

         

        For DIY audio builders and service technicians working with audio components, this capacitor offers a compact value in the low-voltage Kaisei polarised range. Its 10 µF capacitance and 16 V rating make it suitable for circuits that require this exact electrical specification.

         

        Audio Note developed the Kaisei polarised and non-polarised ranges to replace earlier low-voltage electrolytic options that were no longer available in all required values, with the goal of achieving better sonic performance in Audio Note equipment and compatible audio projects.
