        Amplimo 78022 300 VA 2 x 42 V Toroidal Transformer

        The Amplimo 78022 is built around a toroidal core with a 300 VA power rating, making it a strong choice for high-current low-voltage power supplies. Its 230 VAC primary winding supports both 50 Hz and 60 Hz mains operation, while the two 42 V secondary windings each provide 3.47 A.


        The dual secondary design allows flexible wiring. The secondaries can be used separately, connected in series to double the secondary voltage, or connected in parallel to double the secondary current. This makes the transformer useful within electromechanics projects where a robust, configurable AC supply is required.


        With a diameter of 121 mm and a height of 56 mm, the transformer offers a compact footprint for its 300 VA rating. It weighs 2.9 kg, measured without mounting materials. Installation is supported by the included Ø90 mm metal washer, two Ø90 mm neoprene washers, and an M5 x 70 mm bolt with nut.


        For electrical protection, a time-lag primary fuse is required: 1.6 A, 5 x 20 mm, IEC127, with a high I²t value. No secondary fuse is specified. The transformer carries KEMA KEUR and ENEC approvals, UL/CSA approvals under UL file number E320377, and is CE marked and RoHS compliant.
