        Amplimo 40PP6K0S Output Transformer Push-Pull 40 Watt Wide bandwidth toroidal tube output transformer | 6 kΩ

        The Amplimo 40PP6K0S is designed as a toroidal tube output transformer for push-pull output stages. With a 6000 Ω primary impedance and secondary taps for 0, 4 and 8 Ω, it fits tube amplifier projects where reliable coupling to common loudspeaker impedances is required. For builders working with specialist audio components, its clearly defined winding data makes integration straightforward.


        Performance is centred on wide bandwidth reproduction. The transformer reaches a -3 dB frequency bandwidth of 6 Hz to 91 kHz at 1 mW, while the power bandwidth starts at 28 Hz. Electrical parameters include 1076 H primary inductance, 10 mH primary leakage inductance, 455 pF primary capacitance and 93 Ω primary DC resistance.


        The secondary winding provides separate 4 Ω and 8 Ω output options, with turns ratios of 39 for 4 Ω and 27.4 for 8 Ω. The transformer also includes 35% ultra-linear taps, supporting ultra-linear push-pull tube amplifiers. Use only one secondary tap at a time to ensure correct operation.


        The toroidal construction keeps the unit compact at 94 mm outer diameter and 52 mm height, with a weight of 1.3 kg. Mounting is handled with a toroidal clamp and washers, making the 40PP6K0S practical for carefully laid-out tube amplifier chassis designs.
