        The Amplimo 38012 is an 80 VA toroidal transformer with a 230 VAC primary and dual 12 V secondaries rated at 3.33 A each. It is supplied with mounting hardware and solid 200 mm leads for straightforward installation.

        Amplimo 38012 80 VA 2 x 12 V Toroidal Transformer

        The Amplimo 38012 is a compact toroidal transformer designed for reliable mains conversion in electronic power circuits. With an 80 VA power rating, a 230 VAC primary winding and 50/60 Hz operation, it is suitable for building or servicing linear power supplies where a dual low-voltage AC output is required.


        Its two 12 V secondary windings are each rated at 3.33 A. They can be used independently, connected in series to double the secondary voltage, or connected in parallel to double the available secondary current. This flexibility makes the 38012 useful across a range of electromechanics and audio-related electronics projects.


        The transformer has a 91 mm diameter, a 35 mm height and weighs 0.90 kg, measured without the mounting materials. All leads are solid and approximately 200 mm long, giving you practical wiring length during installation inside an enclosure.


        Mounting materials are included: one Ø70 mm metal washer, two Ø70 mm neoprene washers and one M5 x 40 mm bolt with nut. For protection on the primary side, use a 0.4 A time-lag fuse in 5 x 20 mm IEC127 format with a high I²t value. The transformer carries KEMA KEUR, ENEC and UL/CSA approvals, and is CE marked and RoHS compliant.
