        The Amplimo 20SE2K5H is built as a toroidal output transformer for single-ended tube amplifiers. Its 2500 Ω primary impedance and 0, 4 Ω, and 8 Ω secondary options make it suitable for matching a tube output stage to common loudspeaker impedances, with turns ratios of 24.9 for 4 Ω and 17.6 for 8 Ω.

         

        Designed for precise integration in high-quality audio components, the transformer provides 20 W nominal power handling and supports 126 mA nominal primary DC current. The 40% UL tap gives designers an ultra-linear connection option, while the primary electrical values include 15 H inductance, 6 mH leakage inductance, and 495 pF capacitance.

         

        The 20SE2K5H is potted in a black textured aluminium shell for a robust, finished construction. It measures 125 mm in outside diameter by 67 mm high, weighs 3 kg, and mounts with an M8x20 centre bolt. The 200 mm leads provide practical wiring length during installation.

         

        Connections are clearly defined with primary leads for anode, UL, and B+, plus secondary leads for 0, 4 Ω, and 8 Ω. Use only one secondary tap at a time, and insulate all unused wires with heatshrink for a safe and tidy build.
