        Dayton Audio CFC150-4 5.25" Carbon Fiber Woofer 4 Ohm

         

        The Dayton Audio CFC150-4 is a compact woofer built around a woven carbon fiber cone. This cone material combines low moving mass with high rigidity, helping the driver reproduce clean and detailed sound across its usable 50 to 7,000 Hz frequency range.

         

        With a 4 ohms nominal impedance, 3.6 ohms Re and 89 dB sensitivity at 2.83V/1m, the CFC150-4 is well suited for efficient compact speaker designs. Its 40 watts RMS power handling gives it practical output capability for small-format systems.

         

        The motor structure uses a raised pole piece to create a more symmetrical magnetic field, supporting controlled displacement. A vented pole piece improves voice coil cooling, helping to reduce power compression during higher-output playback.

         

        Thanks to its 3.5 mm Xmax, 77 Hz Fs and response extending up to 7,000 Hz, the CFC150-4 is a strong choice for compact 2-way projects and bass-mid woofer applications where detailed midrange and useful low-frequency capability are needed from a small driver.
