A wide roll surround, raised flat spider, and large 1-1/4" 4-layer voice coil ensure impressive bass performance and high power handling. The vented pole and vented spider allow good airflow around the coil to improve heat dissipation and reduce power compression. The ultimate miniature subwoofer driver!

    The advertised specs for this small subwoofer are nowhere close to actual figures as tested with Dayton Audio DATS V3. I could not get any of the free air properties to come even within an acceptable margin of error close to the ones advertised in the Tang Bang data sheet. As for Fs it is advertised as 45HZ but mine read 66HZ. I purchased another similar unit from another supplier just to check and it read 63HZ. I asked a friend on mine who has one installed on a small speaker to remove the driver and test it and he had similar results, 59HZ after many months of use. So take these advertised specs with a scoup of salt as they say, especially if you are using software like WinDS for specifying box dimensions based on the advertised free air parameters, you will be dissapointed.
