        The SEAS W12CY004 - E0070-08 is a high-performance 4.5-inch woofer that features a precision cast, machined, and graphene treated magnesium cone. The cone is designed to act as a piston through the working frequency band, without showing any sign of midrange resonances.

        The SEAS W12CY004 - E0070-08 also features a FEA optimized motor-design boasting both a copper ring and cap, which represents the state-of-the-art regarding linearity and low distortion. Low mechanical and electromagnetic damping ensure high quality reproduction of even the finest micro details in music. The woofer also has a high-performance titanium voice coil former and its connection to the cone has very high power-handling.

         

        The Woofer is suitable for both dedicated midrange and woofer applications in small compact speakers. The extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket keeps the critical components in perfect alignment. Large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reduce sound reflection, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.
