        SEAS T27GL001-DXT High-End Glass Dome Tweeter

         

        The SEAS T27GL001-DXT (E0102-06) is a premium 26 mm glass dome tweeter designed for superior high-frequency performance. The custom-manufactured glass dome exhibits extreme stiffness and low mass, with natural weather resistance, making it ideal for precise and fast transient response even in humid environments. Its neodymium-based magnet system is enhanced with a copper sleeve to reduce modulation and nonlinear distortion, delivering highly accurate sound reproduction.

         

        Engineered for low resonance and high output, this tweeter integrates a copper-clad aluminium voice coil on a ventilated aluminium former for enhanced cooling and sensitivity. The SONOLEX® surround, optimized via finite element analysis, provides consistent linearity and mechanical stability across environmental conditions. The DXT® waveguide machined into a rigid aluminium faceplate improves dispersion characteristics and reduces edge diffraction, offering smoother off-axis performance—a crucial feature for modern loudspeaker design.

         

        Recommended for use in high-end audio systems, the T27GL001-DXT excels in setups demanding precise imaging, extended treble response (2 kHz–25 kHz), and high power handling (up to 250 W short-term).
