Crafted with high-purity copper wire around a Permite core, this coil boasts an inductance of 3.3 mH and a low direct current resistance (DCR) of just 0.255 Ω, ensuring minimal alteration to the driver's damping factor and preserving the efficiency of your audio system. The 15 AWG wire thickness coupled with the robust iron core handles power with ease, while maintaining a tight 3% tolerance on inductance. Unlike coils with ferrite cores, the Jantzen Audio coil's non-ferrite Permite core material significantly reduces hysteresis, which translates to a purer audio experience with less distortion.
