ICEpower 700AS2 Amplifier Module with Integrated Power Supply

The 700AS2 combines a great-sounding dual-channel ICEpower Class D amplifier with a very capable LLC power supply. This module is one of the most versatile and powerful platforms in the amplifier module category. The ability to handle low impedance means the 700AS2, despite its name, is capable of a solid 1000 watts per channel into 2.7 Ω loads. The ability to power up to two 300A1 hanger amplifiers, also makes it great for 2-, 3-way active HiFi and professional speakers.

The capable supply, together with the protection circuits make this module fit for high continuous power demands. On the functionality part, nothing is left out: There are 3V - 5V and 12V trigger plus signal sense inputs available. The 5.1 VDC and 15 -/+VDC auxiliary outputs allow you to connect other circuits like DSP’s, pre-amplifiers or streaming modules with ease. The 43 VDC hanger bus forwards the supply rails to a 300A1 module, allowing you to build your own 3-channel amplification solution. The included cable set gives access to all these cool features.

This fully integrated, compact and efficient power amplifier solution supports universal mains operation and complies with ErP and Energy Star® requirements. The ICEpower 700AS2 is designed for highly competitive consumer and professional audio products ranging from subwoofers and active speakers to A/V amplifiers and multi-way systems. This module is EMC and safety pre-approved, including the amplifier hanger options. There is also a single channel version available; check out the ICEpower 700AS1.

Cable set

The included cable set gives access to all the functions of the 700AS2 module. The leads are left unterminated so that it is possible to terminate the wires with the connections of your choice.

For me 700AS2 hits the ICEpower sweet spot for high fidelity audio reproduction. Surprisingly low harmonic distortion at any output and frequency. Unbelievably low noise floor. With class D amplifiers like this, any other class is obsolete. Worth every penny!
