        The Accuton C90-6-078 is a 130 mm (5-inch) midrange loudspeaker unit featuring a highly rigid ceramic dome, optimized to minimize resonances through specialized cutout fills. These design elements effectively dampen the dome’s 8 kHz resonance, contributing to a clean and uncolored midrange response. Built around a FEA-optimized overhung motor structure, the driver utilizes a 38 mm aluminium voice coil former and a copper voice coil for low energy storage and efficient heat transfer. Its sensitivity of 88 dB and a linear excursion of ±3 mm make it suitable for integration in high-fidelity systems. The C90-6-078 covers a frequency range from 200 Hz to 5,000 Hz, ideal for 3-way or active multi-driver configurations in audiophile-grade loudspeaker designs. The soft fabric surround and thin spider provide excellent centering with minimal mechanical resistance, ensuring high linearity throughout the operating range. The vented pole piece and spider further support thermal stability and mechanical ventilation during extended use.
