        The Accuton C30-6-024 is a high-end 1.2" (30mm) tweeter with an ultra-hard ceramic dome. It is part of Accuton's Cell Concept series, which uses a unique design that utilizes a series of small cells to create a large diaphragm area. This allows for greater control over the diaphragm movement and results in improved sound quality.

        The C30-6-024 features an overhung motor design with a vented aluminium voice coil former and a neodymium magnet. This combination ensures low energy storage and excellent heat transfer, which helps to prevent distortion and maintain accurate reproduction of high frequencies.

         

        The tweeter also features a soft fabric surround and ferrofluid with high viscosity, which helps to center the moving parts with distinctive linearity.

         

        The Accuton C30-6-024 has a frequency response of 1800 Hz to 32 kHz, a sensitivity of 94 dB/2.83V/1m, and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. It is recommended for use in 2-way systems or high-power 3-way designs.
