Speaker Grille Frame Kit – DIY Speaker Grille Assembly Kit
This interlocking grille frame kit from offers everything needed to build a custom speaker grille frame with precision and strength. Perfect for replacing old grilles or completing new speaker cabinets, this kit includes four 42" frame rails, four corner pieces with male plugs, four female sockets, two T-joints, and one 42" cross brace. All components are made from durable plastic for long-lasting performance.
Designed to be fully customizable, the rails can be cut to size to match cabinet dimensions, making it easy to build frames up to 46-1/2" x 45-1/4". Each long rail section measures 42" and can be shortened using a standard hacksaw. The tight-fit interlocking system ensures structural integrity even with large speaker setups.
To help with installation, each corner plug features pilot holes that prevent misalignment and can also serve as mounting points for logos or badges. Sockets are installed using a 5/8" drill bit and adhesives such as silicone or epoxy. The male plug diameter is 3/8", socket flange diameter is 29/32", and the overall socket depth is 5/8".
For applying speaker cloth (sold separately), recommends using hot melt glue for secure, wrinkle-free attachment. With easy-to-follow illustrated instructions, this kit is perfect for audio professionals and hobbyists alike looking to achieve a custom, professional grille finish.
