Sure Electronics AA-JA33288 JAB6 Amplifier module
The Sure Electronics AA-JA33288 JAB6 is a modular high-power Class D amplifier module designed for demanding DIY audio, active loudspeaker, studio monitoring and commercial audio projects. Built around dual TI TPA3255 amplifier ICs, it delivers up to 4 x 300 W output and can be configured for 4.0, 2.1 or 2.0 operation, making it suitable for multi-channel speaker systems, subwoofer combinations and bridged high-power stereo layouts.
The module comes with BM83 Bluetooth and ADAU1701 DSP modules installed as standard. This gives the JAB6 wireless Bluetooth functionality, DSP processing and multiple control options out of the box. Users can work with external WONDOM control panels for physical volume, treble, bass and input control, use the PC UI for channel tuning, EQ, crossover and delay adjustments, or program advanced DSP functions through SigmaStudio with a separately available ICP5 programming board.
PFFB Post Filter Feedback technology helps the amplifier achieve low distortion performance, with 0.008% THD+N and a 55 µVrms noise floor. The board supports Bluetooth, single-ended line-in and I2S audio input, while the integrated ASRC makes the I2S input usable without an MCLK signal. This allows straightforward connection to platforms such as Raspberry Pi and other single-board computers. An I2S output is also available for cascading additional amplifier boards or expanding larger digital audio systems.
The AA-JA33288 is built for stable long-duration use, with a heavy-duty heatsink, temperature-controlled fan cooling and protection against over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, short circuit and DC output faults. The board operates from a 32 to 48 V power supply range and measures 121.92 x 91.44 mm, making it compact enough for integrated builds while still offering serious output power and system flexibility.
