Product details miniDSP SHD Power + UMIK-1

miniDSP SHD Power + UMIK-1 Streaming DSP amplifier and USB measurement microphone bundle

The miniDSP SHD Power brings together a high-performance all-in-one amplifier, network streamer and flexible DSP platform in one unit. It uses a 32-bit floating-point 450 MHz Analog Devices SHARC DSP processor, audiophile 32-bit converters, an embedded PCM1795 DAC chipset and a TPA3255 Class D amplifier stage delivering 2 x 120 W.

For room correction and system tuning, the included UMIK-1 measurement microphone is the ideal partner. This omni-directional USB microphone is designed for acoustic measurements, speaker development, room analysis, live sound tuning and recording. Each microphone is supplied with its own calibration file referenced to the serial number, including on-axis and 90-degree data.

The SHD Power is powered by Dirac Live 2.0 Digital Room Correction and includes a Dirac Live full-range correction license for miniDSP. The UMIK-1 is recommended for Dirac Live tuning and works as a USB Audio Class 1.0 device, so it is automatically recognized by Windows, Mac and Linux without driver installation. With Room EQ Wizard and Dirac Live, calibrated SPL measurement and tuning workflows are straightforward.

Connectivity is built for flexible modern audio systems, with stereo digital inputs via USB Audio, AES-EBU, SPDIF and optical. Outputs include 2 x amplifier outputs, 2 x unbalanced RCA analog outputs and 4 x digital AES-EBU outputs, plus a USB audio recording feature for 4-channel processed output. The bundle also includes the UMIK-1 accessory kit with USB cable, mini-stand, microphone clamp, wind screen and case, making it a practical choice for both playback and measurement setups.
