        The miniDSP Flex Balanced + UMIK-1 Bundle combines a compact 2-in/4-out balanced DSP audio processor with a calibrated USB measurement microphone for speaker tuning, subwoofer integration, room measurements and optional Dirac Live workflows.

        miniDSP Flex Balanced + UMIK-1 Bundle 2-in/4-out balanced TRS DSP audio processor and calibrated USB measurement microphone bundle

         

        This product bundle gives you the key hardware for measuring, tuning and optimising a high-quality audio system. The Flex Balanced is one of miniDSP’s compact DSP modules, built around a 32-bit floating-point 400 MHz Analog Devices SHARC processor and a flexible 2-in/4-out architecture. The balanced version uses 6.35 mm TRS analog connections, with 2 balanced inputs and 4 balanced outputs.

         

        The Flex platform provides extensive tuning tools, including parametric EQ, IIR and FIR filters, crossovers, advanced biquad programming and delay on every output channel. It is suitable for applications such as subwoofer integration, active speakers, compact digital stereo preamp setups, home theater systems and recording studios. The OLED front panel, volume/encoder knob and IR remote make daily control straightforward.

         

        The included UMIK-1 is an omni-directional USB measurement microphone for reliable acoustic measurements. It is a USB Audio Class 1.0 device, so it works without separate drivers on Windows, Mac and Linux. Each microphone comes with a unique calibration file matched to its serial number, supporting accurate measurements in software such as Room EQ Wizard and Dirac Live.

         

        The microphone covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz with calibration loaded, uses a 24-bit ADC at 48 kHz and handles up to 133 dB SPL at 1 kHz with 1% THD. The complete UMIK-1 kit includes a hard cardboard case, 2 meter USB cable, pivotal mini-stand, microphone clamp and wind screen. With balanced 4 V RMS outputs, the Flex can feed compatible amplifiers directly, while Dirac Live room correction remains available as an optional software upgrade.
