        miniDSP Flex Unbalanced + UMIK-1 Bundle DSP processor with RCA and USB measurement microphone

         

         

        The miniDSP Flex Unbalanced is a compact 2-in, 4-out DSP audio processor with unbalanced RCA analogue input and output connectivity. It also includes digital input options via USB Audio, S/PDIF, optical and Bluetooth with LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC support, making it a flexible choice among DSP modules for home audio systems.

         

        Inside the Flex is a 32-bit floating-point 400 MHz Analog Devices SHARC DSP platform designed for precise system tuning. The processor supports flexible parametric EQ, IIR and FIR filters, crossover configuration, advanced biquad programming and delay on each output channel. Up to four DSP presets can be stored, while the OLED front panel display, volume encoder and IR control make daily operation straightforward.

         

        The included UMIK-1 turns the bundle into a complete tool for acoustic measurements, speaker development and room tuning. This omni-directional USB measurement microphone is driverless on Windows, Mac and Linux, uses 24-bit/48 kHz conversion and is supplied with a unique calibration file referenced to its serial number. It is also suitable for use with measurement software such as Room EQ Wizard and is the recommended microphone for Dirac Live tuning.

         

        The Flex package includes the DSP processor, IR remote v2, 12 V universal power supply with UK, EU, US and AU plugs, and a USB cable. The UMIK-1 kit includes a hard cardboard case, 2 meter USB cable, pivotal mini-stand, microphone clamp and wind screen. Dirac Live is available as an optional software upgrade and is not included by default.
