        The SB Audience NERO-6MRN151D is designed as a mid-range woofer with a strong focus on low moving mass and controlled cone behaviour. Its CCAW voice coil helps reduce moving mass, supporting responsive performance in the critical midrange area.

         

        A cast aluminium chassis provides a stable foundation for the driver assembly, while the high grade neodymium magnet delivers a compact and capable motor structure. For builders selecting woofers for demanding speaker projects, this combination offers a purposeful balance of rigidity and efficiency-focused design.

         

        The cone uses SB Audience’s proprietary paper material with graphite, paired with a flat foam surround for optimal midrange reproduction. These design choices make the NERO-6MRN151D a suitable audio component when clarity and controlled behaviour through the mid band are important.

         

        To further improve performance, the motor system includes a shorting ring that helps reduce distortion. The minimum-damping fiberglass voice coil former complements the lightweight moving system, keeping the driver focused on accurate and articulate midrange output.
