        The 5SMP-4 is a 5-1/4" surface-mount woofer designed for audio systems where space efficiency and sonic clarity are critical. Its damped polypropylene cone and rubber surround offer reliable, resonance-controlled performance across a usable frequency range of 50 Hz to 2,500 Hz. This makes it ideal for bass-mid applications in compact 2-way systems and architectural installations. With a sensitivity of 88.8 dB (2.83V/1m) and 35 W RMS power handling, it strikes a strong balance between output and detail. The vented motor design, combined with a copper cap and aluminum voice coil former, minimizes distortion and enhances heat dissipation. A surface-mount-friendly frame and integrated foam gasket ensure airtight sealing and secure fitment in shallow enclosures.
