With a large cone area, 70W RMS power handling, and low Fs of 28 Hz, this 4-ohm driver delivers impactful bass in compact enclosures without compromising on clarity or control.

        GRS 10SMP-4 Surface Mount Woofer

         

        The GRS 10SMP-4 is a 10" poly cone woofer designed for surface-mount installation, offering powerful low-frequency performance in shallow speaker enclosures. With a 4-ohm impedance and 70W RMS power handling, this woofer features a vented pole piece for enhanced cooling, a copper cap to reduce inductance and distortion, and an aluminum voice coil former for excellent heat dissipation. It has a high-efficiency design with a sensitivity of 90 dB @ 2.83V/1m and supports a usable frequency range of 24 Hz to 2,000 Hz. The large cone area (Sd 340 cm²) and generous displacement volume (Vd 170 cm³) make it ideal for deep bass response, while its controlled Qts of 0.51 and low Le of 0.34 mH ensure tight, articulate sound reproduction. A perfect fit for DIY home theater subs, compact full-range towers, or automotive installs demanding slim profile and big sound.
