        The Duelund Coherent Audio JDM-PIO-12-CU-0,82 is part of the JDM Wax PIO inductor range, developed for demanding crossover components in loudspeaker designs. Its air-core construction uses annealed pure copper foil instead of conventional wire, supporting a clean, natural and dynamic response with minimal loss in audio crossover networks.


        The inductor is wound on a compressed paper former, with waxed and oiled paper used to insulate the copper foils. Duelund uses the actual integral foils as terminals, keeping the signal path direct and consistent with the zero-plastic construction. This makes it a refined choice among premium coils for DIY and high-end loudspeaker projects.


        Unlike coils that are only dipped in wax, this JDM Wax PIO inductor is fully deep vacuum impregnated under high pressure using Duelund’s proprietary WPIO dielectricum. This process takes several days and gives the component strong damping properties, high mechanical stability and reduced sensitivity to vibration.


        With its 12 AWG copper foil measuring 150 micrometres thick by 20 mm high, the JDM-PIO-12-CU-0,82 is built for reliable performance in speaker crossover networks, filters and audio electronics where low distortion, mechanical stability and long-lasting durability are important.
