The Veritas One was designed as a complete high-end DIY speaker kit, not simply as a collection of premium parts. The drivers, cabinet alignment, damping, porting and crossover are engineered together to deliver a balanced, dynamic and highly detailed result in a compact bookshelf speaker format. Each kit includes the core parts needed to build a matched pair of speakers, including drivers, crossover components, SmartNode boards, internal wiring, terminals, damping material, ports and mounting hardware.
At the heart of the design is the Veritas LD25B-06 beryllium tweeter. Its high stiffness-to-mass ratio helps deliver clean top-end resolution, low distortion and fine detail without a harsh or fatiguing character. The tweeter is paired with the LDW7 midwoofer, selected for excellent bass capability and a smooth, natural midrange. Together with the engineered crossover, the system offers a wide 41 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response, 87 dB sensitivity at 2.83 V and a nominal 8 ohm impedance.
The Superior crossover components come standard, so there is no separate upgrade path required for critical parts. High-quality capacitors, inductors and resistors are combined with SmartNode crossover boards to make the assembly process cleaner, more repeatable and easier to follow. This makes the Veritas One suitable for builders who want a serious high-end result without having to design the loudspeaker from scratch.
The finished speaker has external dimensions of approximately 356 mm high, 216 mm wide and 305 mm deep, with an assembled weight of approximately 11.3 kg per speaker. The system is tuned with an Fb of 39 Hz and an F3 of 41 Hz, while typical in-room response extends from 30 Hz to 40 kHz. Optional precision-machined MDF or Baltic Birch flat pack cabinets can be selected to simplify cabinet construction and support a consistent final build.
