        Amplimo 88616 500 VA Toroidal Transformer 2 x 25 V

        The Amplimo 88616 is designed for robust AC power conversion in demanding power supplies. Its 500 VA rating, 230 V primary, and two 25 V secondary windings provide a strong basis for projects that require a high-current transformer with predictable electrical behaviour.


        Each secondary winding is rated at 10 A, with output voltages specified under full ohmic load. The transformer has 5% regulation and supports both serial operation to double the secondary voltage and parallel operation to double the secondary current, giving flexibility during system design and wiring.


        Installation is straightforward thanks to the included mounting materials: one metal washer, two neoprene washers, and one bolt with nut. All leads are approximately 200 mm long, with white-white for the 230 V primary and red-yellow plus blue-grey for the secondary connections, making it practical for use alongside other amplifier accessories.


        With a diameter of 135 mm, a height of 58 mm, and a weight of 4.6 kg without mounting materials, the 88616 is compact for its power class. It is built according to EN61558, carries CE and UL/CSA approvals, has UL file number E311200, and is RoHS compliant, making it a dependable choice within electromechanics applications.
