Scan-Speak Rubberboot

The rubber boot is fitted around the ferrite magnet system at the rear of the loudspeaker driver. It is not part of the cone suspension and does not directly affect cone excursion, efficiency, or power handling.

In addition to providing protection, the rubber boot gives the driver a neat and finished appearance. This makes it particularly suitable for open-baffle loudspeakers and other designs where the rear of the driver remains visible or exposed.

The Scan-Speak rubber boot is designed for use with compatible Scan-Speak drivers and offers a simple way to protect and finish the magnet assembly.
