The Scan-Speak Classic 15W/8534T00 is a high-quality midwoofer that is suitable for a wide range of applications. The Phenomax cone is a new material developed by Scan-Speak that combines the best properties of Kevlar and carbon fiber. It is very rigid and has excellent damping characteristics, which results in a smooth and accurate midrange response. The 38mm voice coil is wound on a titanium former, which is more rigid than a conventional aluminium former. This helps to improve the woofer's dynamic performance.

The Scan-Speak Classic 15W/8534T00 is a 15cm midwoofer that is part of the Classic series of speakers from Scan-Speak. It features a Phenomax cone, a 38mm voice coil on a titanium former, a symmetrical drive motor system, and a low loss linear rubber suspension. The woofer has a frequency response of 32-3000Hz, an impedance of 8ohms, and a sensitivity of 85.5dB.

The symmetrical drive motor system helps to reduce distortion and improve the woofer's overall sound quality. The low loss linear rubber suspension also contributes to the woofer's good performance. It is very compliant, which allows the woofer to move freely without generating excessive distortion.
