The SB Acoustics SB29BAC-C000-4 Dome Tweeter is another high-end tweeter that features a beryllium dome for non-resonant high frequency extension. Beryllium is a very stiff and lightweight material that has a high modulus of elasticity and is used in high-end tweeters because it can produce a very accurate sound. The large surround dome increases the acoustic output of the tweeter, while the copper cap reduces voice coil inductance and minimum phase shift. The saturation controlled motor system is used for low distortion, while the dual balanced compression chambers are used for improved dynamics.
