      Purifi PTT5.25X08-NAA-05 133 mm Extended Woofer

       

      The Purifi PTT5.25X08-NAA-05 is a premium 8 ohm extended woofer developed for high-end hi-fi and studio monitor applications. With a resonance frequency of approximately 29 Hz and a total Q factor of 0.30, it is well suited for compact sealed or vented enclosures where accurate low-frequency reproduction is required.

       

      The driver features a rigid black anodized aluminum cone and a carefully optimized motor system that minimizes force factor modulation and inductance variation. This results in exceptionally low harmonic and intermodulation distortion, even at high excursion levels, while preserving clean and detailed midrange response.

       

      A 39 mm diameter, four-layer CCAW voice coil combined with a long-stroke suspension enables a linear excursion of ±9.8 mm and a mechanical limit of ±14.0 mm. The effective piston area of approximately 85 cm2 and an equivalent volume of around 12 L support deep bass capability from a compact form factor.

       

      The PTT5.25X08-NAA-05 is rated for 250 W IEC long-term power handling, making it suitable for demanding audiophile and DIY loudspeaker designs. Its combination of advanced motor technology, robust mechanical construction, and precise engineering ensures consistent, high-fidelity performance in critical listening applications.
