      The PURIFI PTT5.25M08-NAA-05 is a dedicated midrange driver featuring an 8 ohm nominal impedance and a resonance frequency of 41 Hz. With a total Q factor of 0.29 and an effective piston area of 84.9 cm², it is well suited for controlled and accurate midrange reproduction in multi-way loudspeaker systems.

       

      The driver utilizes a black anodized aluminum cone paired with PURIFI’s Neutral Surround Technology, minimizing non-linearities and ensuring consistent performance across the usable excursion range. The force factor of 9.5 N/A and ultra-low magnetic hysteresis contribute to extremely low harmonic and intermodulation distortion, even at higher output levels.

       

      Equipped with a 39 mm diameter, four-layer CCAW voice coil and a linear excursion of ±2.9 mm, the PTT5.25M08-NAA-05 offers precise control and thermal stability. The driver supports a long-term IEC power handling of 200 W and is optimized for use with a 2nd order high-pass Butterworth crossover at 200 Hz, making it an ideal choice for high-end audiophile loudspeakers and advanced DIY designs.
