      PURIFI PTT5.25M04-NAA-05 5.25 inch Midrange Driver

       

      The PURIFI PTT5.25M04-NAA-05 is a dedicated 4 ohm midrange driver developed to meet the needs of high-end loudspeaker systems where transparency and low distortion are critical. With a resonance frequency of 39 Hz and a total Q factor of 0.24, it is well suited for controlled midrange operation in multi-way designs. The driver achieves a sensitivity of 87.4 dB at 2.83 V RMS measured at 1 meter, providing a solid balance between efficiency and precision.

       

      The cone is manufactured from black anodized aluminum, offering high rigidity and excellent damping properties. This construction helps maintain pistonic motion across the intended frequency range and minimizes resonances. The effective piston area of 85 cm2 and a moving mass of 17.3 g contribute to fast transient response and accurate vocal and instrumental reproduction.

       

      The motor system is engineered to deliver ultra-low distortion through minimal force factor modulation and reduced magnetic hysteresis. A linear excursion capability of ±2.9 mm ensures clean output under dynamic conditions, while a mechanical excursion limit of ±14.0 mm provides additional headroom and reliability. The driver incorporates PURIFI’s Neutral Surround Technology to further enhance linearity and consistency throughout its operating range.

       

      Power handling is rated at 200 watts according to IEC standards, making the PTT5.25M04-NAA-05 suitable for both high-output home audio systems and professional monitoring applications. Physical dimensions include a basket diameter of 147 mm, a cutout diameter of 121 mm, and a built-in depth of 75 mm, allowing straightforward integration into compact and precisely engineered loudspeaker enclosures.
