      FaitalPRO HF146R High-Frequency Compression Driver – 8 Ohm Version

       

      The FaitalPRO HF146R is a 1.4" exit high-frequency driver designed for powerful sound projection with fine-tuned control. Sharing the core architecture of the HF146, this "R" version introduces a perforated suspension that allows for optimized acoustic behavior, enhancing tuning options and overall sound quality. It features a 65 mm (2.56 in) aluminum voice coil and handles 80 W AES power above 0.9 kHz, or 40 W AES above 0.65 kHz — with peak capacities doubled.

      The ketone polymer diaphragm and annular phase plug enable smooth wavefront control, while the driver delivers full coverage from 700 Hz to 18 kHz. Its compact 2.5" depth and neodymium magnet ensure lightweight integration without sacrificing performance. The HF146R is well suited for advanced two-way and three-way systems, particularly in horn-loaded enclosures where clarity, efficiency, and acoustic precision are paramount.
