      FaitalPRO HF1440 High-Frequency Compression Driver – 8 Ohm Version

       

      The FaitalPRO HF1440 is a powerful 1.4" exit high-frequency driver engineered for use in large-format touring systems, high-fidelity installations, and demanding multi-way loudspeaker designs. Featuring an 86 mm (3.4 in) aluminum voice coil wound on a Kapton former, it handles 120 W AES (240 W peak), making it one of the most capable drivers in its class.

      With a radial phase plug and annular diaphragm made from ketone polymer, the HF1440 offers ultra-smooth high-frequency extension from 500 Hz to 20 kHz, with a minimum recommended crossover point of just 700 Hz. Its neodymium magnet delivers a powerful 2.2 T flux density in a compact 2.1 kg driver, helping minimize enclosure weight without sacrificing output. Designed for use with the FaitalPRO LTH142 horn or similar 1.4" flares, the HF1440 is the professional’s choice for high-output, low-distortion high-frequency reproduction.
