      Beyma 12GA50 Full-Range Frequency Transducer

       

      The Beyma 12GA50 is a high-efficiency 12” full-range transducer designed to deliver wide bandwidth and accurate sound reproduction in compact enclosures. It is rated at 250 W AES power and 500 W program power, achieving a remarkably high sensitivity of 102 dB (1W/1m), making it suitable for high-output applications with minimal amplification. This unit incorporates a double cone structure to ensure extended frequency response from 100 Hz to 18,000 Hz, offering balanced performance across both low and high frequencies. Its 2” aluminum voice coil, combined with a copper shorting cap, reduces harmonic distortion and enhances transient accuracy. The cone surround is specially treated for linearity and smooth response, contributing to the driver’s natural tonal character—ideal for music instrument amplification and full-range PA systems. It features a 3 mm Xmax and a peak-to-peak excursion limit of 24 mm, supporting dynamic performance while maintaining control. With a mounting depth of 139 mm and a net weight of 3.5 kg, the 12GA50 provides a well-balanced solution for loudspeaker systems requiring clarity, projection, and wide-range performance in a single driver.
