Speaker L-Pad Attenuator 50W Mono 3/8" Shaft 8 Ohm

L-pads adjust the relative volume of drivers connected to them by placing added resistance in series. At the same time, a counter-resistance is placed in parallel with the driver to maintain a constant impedance which allows the original crossover design to be used. L-pads are to be placed in between the amplifier and speaker, or in between the crossover and drivers. This particular L-pad is rated at 50 watts RMS, is designed to be used with 8 ohm loads, features a 3/8" shaft length, and comes with mounting hardware, faceplate, and volume control knob

Excellent service from Soundimports with the attenuators arriving quickly and safely. The L-Pad attenuators have helped dial in the level of compression horn to match the other drivers in my speaker system.

I'm using the L-pad on a nextension speaker that I built for a mini PA system. It works really well and does exactly what I wanted it to do. It's a really well engineered prtoduct and I was pleased to be able to buy a flush fitting mount plate and knob to go with it. Most of all I am pleased to have found a company that stocks lots of great components for people who like to make and repairtheir own equipement.
