Tang Band W6-1139SIF 6-1/2" Paper Cone Subwoofer Speaker

The Tang Band W6-1139SIF 6-1/2" subwoofer's wide half-roll surround, raised flat spider, and large 1-1/2" 4-layer voice coil ensure exceptional output and high power handling. Boasting 11.5 mm of Xmax, the W6-1139SIF is capable of producing prodigious amounts of deep, low-distortion, punchy bass. A vented pole piece and vented spider promote voice coil cooling by improving heat dissipation and reducing efficiency-robbing power compression. This 4 ohm driver also features a rugged stamped steel basket and bumped back plate.

Reasonably priced driver. Unfortunately, the datasheet values are very inaccurate. Measurement values (CLIO-pocket) after 100 hours BurnIn: fs=49.8Hz, Qts=0.60

Heb deze woofer gebruikt als vervanging voor de woofer uit de Teufel T6 sub. Resultaat, veel diepere en strakkere bas. Heb wel een MDF opvulring moeten gebruiken omdat de nieuwe woofer een iets diepere inbouw heeft.

Hello. This is useless speaker because the box must be as big as for 25cm woofer. If You have more membrane then You don't need so big x-max and You get more bass at lower freq and higher effeciency. I have built 3 different boxes for this speaker and none of them is good. This is kind of air pump without sound xD
