Wondom GAU1 Gaming Amplifier Unit
The Wondom GAU1 is engineered for gamers and audio enthusiasts seeking reliable, high-fidelity amplification in compact gaming or DIY audio systems. At its core is the TPA3116D2 Class-D amplifier IC from Texas Instruments, delivering efficient and clean audio amplification. It supports 2.1 channel output with 2 × 50W (4Ω) stereo channels and a 100W (2Ω) mono subwoofer, making it well-suited for immersive gaming audio environments.
This unit supports both Bluetooth wireless audio and wired 3.5mm analog input, ensuring flexibility for a wide range of devices—from PCs and consoles to mobile phones. With a supply voltage range of 12V to 24V DC, the GAU1 is compatible with standard power adapters and ATX power supplies (12V), with a minimum recommended current rating of 3A.
Connectivity is secure thanks to Mini-Fit and Micro-Fit self-locking connectors, and a ring terminal ensures a reliable ground path. Outputs and controls are clearly laid out, including adjustable knobs for balance, bass, crossover (80–210 Hz), and volume, along with a Bluetooth unpairing button and status LEDs.
Thermally optimized to operate up to 65°C under full load, the GAU1 is ideal for extended gaming sessions. Audio specifications include a signal-to-noise ratio of 111.7 dB (stereo), THD+N of 0.18%, and low idle power consumption (3.7W @ 24V). The amplifier measures just 110.0 × 100.0 × 25.0 mm and weighs approx. 280.8 g, making it compact and easy to integrate into any setup.
