The SMSL AL400 is a next-generation high-fidelity integrated amplifier designed to meet the expectations of audiophiles and home audio enthusiasts alike. Featuring cutting-edge components, multiple digital and analog inputs, and a robust EQ system, the AL400 delivers powerful, precise sound while maintaining exceptional energy efficiency.
SMSL AL400 Integrated Stereo Amplifier
The SMSL AL400 is a high-performance Class D integrated amplifier that combines refined digital processing with robust amplification. At its core, the AL400 uses a high-efficiency digital amplifier chip capable of delivering up to 110W per channel into 4Ω loads. It supports high-resolution audio decoding via USB, HDMI (eARC), Optical, and Coaxial inputs, while Bluetooth 5.1 enables wireless streaming with support for SBC, AAC, and aptX codecs.
This amplifier is engineered for versatility. It features a built-in low-noise phono preamp compatible with both MM and MC cartridges, allowing direct connection to turntables. The AL400’s tone control system allows users to finely adjust bass, midrange, and treble using different frequency points, Q values, and gain levels—ideal for tailoring sound to specific speakers or room acoustics. Subwoofer integration is seamless thanks to an independent sub-out with selectable low-pass filters (ranging from 40Hz to 250Hz) and phase adjustment (0°/180°).
The user interface is streamlined via a multifunction knob and a full-function remote control. Built with audiophile-grade components such as gold-plated connectors, precision-machined aluminum faceplate, and an internal linear power supply, the AL400 is as durable as it is elegant. Multiple protection circuits—against overheating, overcurrent, and more—ensure long-term reliability.
