Actually these 8" drivers are among very few that can play in 2 way designs with classic dome tweeters! Erik Fagerheim's review only reflects his choices, but the driver is one of a kind in this regard, and i would not refrain to cross it even at 1.5kHz, as it is not only low distortion, but very fast. Scan has plenty of tweeters that can play down to 1.5 kHz or even lower, with matching distortion and speed figures at the crossing frequency. He...
