The Classic Advanced line of woofers is based on Morel's classic line - the renowned MW series. These products have high power handling due to the aerodynamic Uniflow™ open chassis and large diameter spiders. This woofer has reinforced ferrite magnets for the double magnet system delivering higher magnetic flux motor, resulting in a low resonance frequency and Qts points. This is the latest version of Morel's MW-265 and MW-266 woofers.

Morel CAW938 9" Cast Frame Woofer

The Morel CAW938 is a 9 inch woofer from the Classic Advanced range featuring the Morel Uniflow aluminum diecast chassis, high flux double ferrite magnet system, 3 inch Hexatech aluminum voice coil and a shallow DPC (damped composite polymer) cone. It is a modern, much improved version of the classic MW 266. The CAW938 has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, a resonant frequency of 45 Hz, and a sensitivity of 86.5 dB SPL. It is rated for a maximum power handling of 250 watts RMS and 500 watts peak.

The CAW938 is designed to deliver accurate and extended bass response. It is well-suited for use in a variety of applications, including home audio, car audio, and professional sound reinforcement.
