The SS12-PR is a 12" Signature Series passive radiator designed to pair with the SS12-22 subwoofer and similar high-performance drivers. With an adjustable mass system, robust mechanical design, and premium aluminum construction, it enables precise low-frequency tuning without the drawbacks of traditional ports.
The SS12-PR brings tuning flexibility and low-frequency extension to 12" subwoofer systems. Its rigid anodized aluminum cone and cast aluminum frame ensure mechanical stability and strength, while the compliant suspension delivers controlled, linear travel during high excursion. Designed to visually and mechanically match the SS12-22 subwoofer, it integrates seamlessly into advanced enclosure builds.
At the core of its performance is the SMS™ (Sandwich Mass System), engineered to minimize angular torque and improve excursion linearity. A threaded rod and lock nut assembly make tuning adjustments straightforward, and the inclusion of five 116 g weighted discs enables users to precisely tailor the system’s tuning frequency. This allows enclosure designers to extend bass response without requiring large or noisy vented ports.
As part of the Signature Series, the SS12-PR is an essential component for premium sealed or hybrid passive radiator enclosures, delivering extended and accurate bass while maintaining the design consistency of the active driver lineup.
