Each channel delivers 80W into 8 ohms or 160W into 4 ohms, with bridging capability for higher output (160W @ 8 ohms). Input options include 12 dedicated RCA inputs and two global stereo bus inputs (Bus A & B), with selectable input routing per channel. The unit supports both manual and automated control via auto-on signal sensing and 12V triggers for each zone, plus 12V trigger outputs for system-wide coordination. Independent gain controls per channel enable precise level balancing across zones, while built-in overload, short circuit, and thermal protection ensure long-term reliability.

When configured for bridged output, the amplifier will use only the left input channel. This ensures optimal performance and easy setup for bridged audio applications.
The MA1280 does not come with a remote, however, it does have a trigger input so that other devices can turn it on.
