        The Beyma SMC-8060N is a versatile and efficient high-frequency compression driver designed with built-in 80º x 60º horn for directional control and ease of integration. It features a 1” throat and a 1.75” edgewound aluminum ribbon voice coil, offering excellent thermal behavior and transient response. Designed for compact systems, the SMC-8060N provides a high sensitivity of 107 dB (1W/1m) and handles 100 W program power above 1.5 kHz, making it a suitable choice for portable PA systems, monitors, and installed sound. Its polyester diaphragm contributes to a frequency response range from 0.8 to 18 kHz, while its low harmonic distortion ensures a clean and natural sound. The ferrite magnet delivers a 1.65 T flux density with a strong Bl factor of 8.5 N/A, ensuring effective conversion of electrical input into acoustic output. The unit's compact 140 x 140 mm front dimension, 122 mm depth, and net weight of 1.5 kg make it easy to fit into small-format enclosures without compromising performance. The SMC-8060N is a part of Beyma's SM Series and is tailored for professional applications requiring lightweight, efficient high-frequency components with directional coverage and sonic precision.
