        Beyma 18LEX1200Nd Low Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 18LEX1200Nd is a premium low-frequency transducer designed to deliver powerful, low-distortion bass with exceptional control and durability. Built around a lightweight yet strong neodymium motor structure, the driver achieves high efficiency with a sensitivity of 98 dB (1W/1m). It supports a continuous AES power rating of 1200 watts and a program power capacity of 2400 watts, making it suitable for high-powered subwoofer systems.

        This driver features a 4" DUO double-layer voice coil wound in and out on a high-temperature copper former, which ensures excellent thermal stability and mechanical reliability. A double silicone spider and extended Xmax of ±11 mm contribute to its precise and linear behavior over large excursions. The 48 mm peak-to-peak mechanical excursion capacity allows it to handle massive dynamic peaks without damage.

        The 18LEX1200Nd incorporates Beyma’s patented Malt Cross® cooling system, which minimizes power compression and keeps performance stable even under continuous heavy loads. Additional design enhancements include an aluminum demodulating ring to reduce distortion and a weatherproof cone treated on both sides for outdoor or adverse conditions. With an optimized frequency range of 40–1000 Hz and resonance frequency of 36 Hz, this subwoofer is ideal for both direct radiation and band-pass configurations.
