SB Acoustics SB29RDNC-C000-4 Ring Dome Tweeter with Neodymium Magnet

This tweeter features a proprietary fabric ring dome with a large roll surround. Stabilizing the center of the dome greatly reduces distortion and brings the acoustic center of the tweeter back to the voice coil, with the added benefit of increased sensitivity. The tweeter has a chambered back designed to provide a lower resonance frequency and reduce back wave reflections from the dome. A copper cap is used on the pole piece.

I was really expecting something better from SB, but the ring dome just doesn't seem to deliver good sound. It's boring, lacks details and resolution, the SB26STAC sounds better in my opinion.

Vorab: Ich habe lange recherchiert und simuliert. Die Wahl fiel auf den SB29RDNC-4 (in Kombination mit dem SB17MFC35-4), da dieser Tief angekoppelt werden kann. Leider überzeugt mich der Hochtöner nicht. Er funktioniert, ist aber auch nicht besser als einer für 10€. Er klingt langweilg ohne Glanz. Allerdings fällt er auch nicht auf.

Großartiger Tweeter! Für 50€ das Stück handelt es sich hierbei definitiv nicht um ein Schnäppchen, aber der Preis lohnt sich. Man bekommt genau das, was man erwartet. Gute Qualität und einen tollen Sound. Dank der niedrigen Fs von rund 700hz kann man diesen Tweeter bei rund 2000hz crossen, solange man einen Filter 2er Ordnung benutzt. In der Simulation mit XSim muss man zwar ein bisschen rumwerkeln, bis man ein gutes Ergebnis bekommt, aber...
