      VoltVM754 Midrange Dome Driver

       

      The Volt VM754 is a premium 3” (75 mm) midrange dome driver, ideal for use in high-end studio monitors. Designed with a lightweight single-layer copper voice coil and a front-mounted short horn, this driver achieves high excursion and excellent low-end midrange performance. The one-piece coated soft fabric dome/surround is optimized for acoustic smoothness and consistency, with a secondary rear surround for enhanced voice coil stability.

       

      The motor system is precision-engineered using FEA techniques and incorporates a 155 mm ceramic magnet, contributing to its high 92 dB sensitivity. The dome/coil assembly is mounted on a replaceable self-aligning ring, allowing for easy field servicing. The VM754 features a durable machined aluminum chassis with M5 threaded inserts for secure rear mounting, and hidden connection braids for a clean appearance. Solder or push-on connections are supported via 4.8 mm spade terminals.

       

      With a frequency range of 450 Hz to 4500 Hz, the VM754 is tailored for critical midrange applications, offering high fidelity, efficiency, and a compact 1-liter volume displacement. Its 100-watt AES power rating and ±1 mm linear excursion make it robust for demanding environments. The VM754 stands out as a top choice for those building or upgrading professional-grade monitoring systems.
