      The VM527 features a coated single-piece fabric dome and surround, coupled with a lightweight Kapton/Nomex voice coil former wound with round copper wire. This design provides accurate transient response and wide dispersion, controlled by a short flare horn built into the rear-mounted faceplate. The driver boasts a high sensitivity of 91 dB and a power handling capacity of 75W AES, making it suitable for demanding audio environments.

       

      The VM527's impedance resonance occurs at a low 473 Hz, and it has a smooth on-axis response within ±1.5 dB from 570 Hz to 4 kHz, ensuring clear and accurate midrange reproduction. Its robust construction and high-quality materials make it a reliable choice for both home and professional audio applications.
