This 18-inch driver utilizes Volt's Radial Technology, featuring a unique three-tiered cooling system: a vented magnet, the Radial chassis acting as a heatsink, and a multi-finned magnet intercooler. This design keeps voice coil temperatures exceptionally low, significantly reducing power compression and maintaining dynamic range even after prolonged operation at maximum power. The symmetrical field magnet system with an extended center pole allows for linear excursions up to 25mm peak-to-peak, ensuring accuracy and control.

      Had this driver installed in a wall unit fir sub bass. Driven by a 600w amp using a low band pass filter. It's a very capable speaker. Listening to a choral piece of music performed in Westminster Abby. The bass can only be felt and not heard.
