Super Lautsprecher mit sehr großem Frequenzbereich und einem sehr breiten Appstrahlwinkel. Ein Lautsprecher, den man auch unter komplizierten Einbauposition verwenden kann.

The packaging had bits of dirt and dried grass stuck in the tape, and the roughly cut plastic packaging has squished the surround such that it is permanently deformed. The drivers function - but this is more the state I'd expect buying used.

Great as a tweeter, okay as a full-range. The higher frequencies sound very expansive and quite natural, but mine had a hard dip around 15 kHz that needed to be fixed with DSP. The midrange sounds a little artificial and empty, but on par with other drivers of this size. For ported desktop speakers you can tune them to around 65 Hz before they start over exerting at a reasonable volume.

Wow. The sound is very nice everywhere in the room. I use it above 1500 as tweeter. Only the efficiency is very low.

These things really do live up to their hype. They handle power, the dispersion/off axis is in a class of its own, and they work well in small enclosures. There is not a lot of tollerance for mounting them so you need to be very accurate or creative. Otherwise they'd get 5 stars.

Off-axis response of this driver is absolutely crazy. 0-30° with pretty much no difference, at 60° the frequency drop just about compensated bafflestep on my 6cm wide test enclosures (so at this angle I got a flat-ish frequency response) and at 90° (!) it lost 14dB at 18kHz, compared to on-axis. And it did it in a very controlled way. So 180° radiation claimed by TE is not just some marketing BS, this thing can really do it. It's usable from...
