This kit contains everything you need to build your own SoundImpress stereo amplifier. The main parts for this are the ICEpower 50ASX2 SE amplifier module and a black anodized aluminum case. The amplifier module with integrated high efficient resonant power supply offers audiophile quality, is very powerful but also compact. The custom milled aluminum enclosure, which houses the ICEpower 50ASX2 SE amplifier module, is the best thermal material for audio devices.

Along the main parts, this kit includes everything else you need to build a powerful, high-quality stereo amplifier at a reasonable price. Assembly is easy and only requires proper positioning of the modules, some minor soldering, bolts to be tightened and connectors to be clicked. Het pakket is echt geweldig goed uitgevoerd. Jammer alleen dat de beloofde instructies ontbraken. Door de Ghent schakelaar ben ik op hun site gaan kijken en zag dat zij er ook geen handleiding bij de niet OEM versie geven. Superslim kastje. Alles past maar op 1 manier. Zwarte schroefjes buiten Zilveren binnen etc. Een paar tips zouden echter wel op hun plaats zijn. Allereerst de aanwijzing draden te twisten. Ten tweede de aanwijzing geven het messing busje dat bij het schroefje zit te gebruiken om de versterkerprint te aarden op de plek waar geen verf om het montagegat in de bodem zit. (Zie Appendix A van de 50asx2 designer manual). Ik zou ook haast aanbevelen de outputs met banaanstekkers in de aansluitbussen te steken. Wie heeft er tenslotte de 100Watt bout die nodig is om het draadje vast te solderen aan een bus die voor 6mm2 bedoeld is. En de hint eerst het pootje van de schakelaar vast te schroeven en dan de montageschroefjes zonder eerst de schakelaar naar buiten drukken. Een of twee extra fotootjes op de site zullen waarschijnlijk al voldoende zijn. Dan is ie in 20 minuten klaar. Ik gebruik hem ter vervanging van mijn 50 jaar oude Quad 303 op een stel Quad esl's. Werk perfect en een beter geluid dan de versleten 303 die overigens in 2011 wel was gerestaureerd. Enige probleem dat de ingangsimpedantie nogal laag is en er geen bufferprints te koop zijn. Onderdelen om het zelf te maken in Nederland voor particulieren helaas evenmin. Ik gebruik nu een koptelefoonversterker met lineout (Schitt) voor dat doel. Werkt perfect en zo heb ik ook een headphone aansluiting. Dus Quad ELS57 eigenaars die geen zin hebben in esoterica van 45 jaar geleden met al hun eigenaardigheden, koop dit verterkertje. Ik ben zeer blij dat jullie deze set zo aanbieden, zelf importeren is waarschijnlijk niet goedkoper en zes weken wachttijd op je kastje wil je toch niet. De versterker geeft ik 4 1/2 ster omdat hij zo'n lage inputimpedantie heeft maar verder perfect. Het gemis aan wat sumiere instructies hebben werd uiteindelijk goed opgelost , dus chapeau daarvoor, maar ik hoop dat andere kopers van deze sets die wel meekrijgen.
