SMSL offers with the A300 a compact but powerful and efficient Class D amplifier, based on a Infineon MA5332MS amplifier chip. These allow it to deliver a comfortable power of 2x165W. Practical, the A300 in addition to its standard connectivity, provides a Bluetooth reception, allowing to broadcast and control simply its music remotely, from a smartphone for example. Other features, the A300 provides a BTL mode to enjoy more power with a second unit and a subwoofer output for the integration of a 2.1 audio system.

Kwaliteit van klasse D , klinkt erg goed tot zeer goed in tegenstelling tot het verleden. Gebruiksvriendelijkheid en mogelijkheden zijn toppie.

This is as good as contemporary chi-fi gets. The amplifier is never in the way for the music . I had some issues connecting my phone to it, the remote sensor is weirdly narrow and I do wish there was a class A headphone amp in it , but I know what I paid for. The unit does what it should and there is not more to it. Recommended!

Helder geluid met nagenoeg geen vervorming, ook op hoog volume blijft het strak. In het lage tonen bereik “ drukt” de versterker vooral op matig volume onvoldoende een mooie ronde bas door. Een oude A klasse Pioneer doet dat aanmerkelijk beter op dezelfde boxen. Dus als je een warm vol geluid zoekt kun je beter een ander type zoeken. Maar voor het geld een zeer leuk krachtpatsertje. one thing that annoys me a bit is the IR remote. the receiver is quite directional and I am using it with a broadlink rm4 mini… but unfortunately there are no separate buttons for the input source. it also seems to drop out quite frequently. Na grondig zoekwerk en vergelijken gekozen voor de SMSL a300. Ter vervanging van mijn oude Technics versterker. Vandaag binnengekomen en gelijk aangesloten. Er draait een Pro-ject essential III platen speler op gekoppeld aan bose 301 serie IV speakers. Wat een geluid!!! Kraak heldere weergave, ik hoor tonen in de platen die ik eerder niet hoorde. I was impressed with this amp from day 1. At first I thought the treble sounded a bit sharp. But after listening for a few hours it went away. Now I have listened to 5 different speakers and it impresses. €200 feels like a bargain. I have only listened to RCA input from CD players.
